The CIO Division provides a range of enabling services and operations delivery to the department and to Australian businesses and are seeking experienced and motivated Manual Testers to assist with the delivery of various ICT Projects across the Division.

Key duties and responsibilities

The successful applicant must have relevant work experience and a range of technical skills. The following would be well regarded:

  • Dynamic 365 CRM tester experience
  • Experience with DevOps/TFS for test planning and defect management.
  • Hands on experience with functional testing, Integration testing and regression testing.
  • Solid understanding of testing principles and techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills interfacing with key project stakeholders
  • Experience in using recent versions of Visual Studio, and utilising modern code analysis tools.
  • Understanding and experience working with cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Azure DevOps, including TFVC and Git repositories.
  • The ability to perform, collaborate and deliver ICT solutions within an agile team.

Essential criteria

1. Proven experience with functional testing, integration testing and regression testing.

2. Expertise in developing test artefacts, including writing, reviewing and executing complex test plans and cases and developing test strategies

3. Solid understanding of testing principles and techniques.

4. Strong communication and collaboration skills interfacing with key project stakeholders.

5. The ability to perform, collaborate and deliver ICT solutions within an agile geographically dispersed team.

6. Experience with DevOps/TFS for test planning and defect management.
