We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to support Agency wide data and information needs. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of Business Intelligence dashboards and reports.
Key duties and responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the successful candidate will be:
- Engaging with stakeholders to define business requirements
- Developing and maintaining complex Qlik dashboards and reports
- Building and maintaining underlying data structures including creating QVD’s and SQL scripts utilising Qlik and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Designing and implementing data models
- Migrating Qlik Sense Enterprise Apps and nPrinting reports to Qlik Cloud
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support Agency wide reporting and data management.
- Managing requests for data to satisfy the Agency’s reporting requirements to executives, Ministers and the Senate.
Technical skills
Qlik Microsoft SQL Server
Essential criteria
1.Strong track record developing interactive Qlik dashboards and reports.
2.Demonstrated experience designing and implementing physical data models in Microsoft SQL Server.
3.Proven ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders to elicit and analyse business requirements, and to identify opportunities for process optimisation.
4.Highly developed data communication skills, including the ability to provide timely, accurate and audience‑appropriate responses to complex data requests.
